Our summer destination was the south-western corner of Victoria, on the coast, so we had the added benefit of being able to hop across to South Australia for a visit. We camped in the Lower Glenelg River National Park which was a great choice. The campsite was full of wildlife and very peaceful. Our adventures continue with a return trip to the magnificent Murray Valley National Park. This time, we crossed the border into NSW and camped at a National Park campsite called Swifts Creek. It was a peaceful and private campsite, surrounded by towering river red gums and perched on the banks of a deep and cool creek system.
