Our journey continues with a quick visit to the Illawarra and the nations capital, Canberra, to visit family and friends. The Illawarra region is growing rapidly. It's no wonder that people are flocking to this fabulous region to enjoy the coastal and mountain lifestyle. A drive along the top of the escarpment provided some lovely views of the beaches and headlands. A great place to live and visit!

The Floriade Festival heralds the beginning of spring-time and wasn't it grand! The colours were truly amazing. We had a lovely time tip-toeing through the tulips. After that, some family time and fine dining with friends. It's always a pleasure to visit Canberra.
